What’s the first thing that comes to mind, when we talk about London? For us, it is the queen’s guard. Donning the thick and heavy hat and wearing the vibrant red costumes, they are the most intriguing part of this city. In the olden days, the fluffy black hats, that are made from bear fur, were supposed to be intimidating, and from then the tradition stuck!

2. Streets filled with London Taxi

Black cabs, or Hackney Carriages, are an eternal symbol of London. But did you know, that being a cab driver is one of the most difficult jobs in London? All black cab drivers have to pass an immensely tough geography test, popularly known as ‘The Knowledge’. For this, one has to know 320 basic routes, all 25,000 streets within these routes and 20,000 landmarks within a 6-mile radius of Charing Cross!
